1914 Fire Engine & ‘27 Touring Car Set
Fords production of Fire Engines was a 2-step process. First the chassis with engine was purchased. Then a body maker was chosen to build the actual Fire Engine Ford closed their manufacturing facility in late May 1927 to make way for the Model A. As the last Model T came off the assembly line, Ford Touring Cars outsold the entire lines of every other manufacturer.
