Details

It’s the fire engine that saved New York City. In an era before modern firefighting gear, New York’s Bravest needed the best equipment possible. And when it came to fire engines, it meant using Ahrens-Fox™ rigs.

From 1915 until 1972, New York’s firefighters went to meet the flames in Ahrens-Fox fire engines. In these six decades, the New York Fire Department purchased 50 Ahrens-Fox rigs to protect the Big Apple. Ahrens-Fox pumpers, ladders — even an airport crash rig — were used to keep New York City safe from harm.

In veneration of the Ahrens-Fox’s historic legacy and the brave firefighters who used them, we’ve recreated the 1938 Ahrens-Fox VC Fire Engine in die-cast model form. Rendered at a 1:43 scale, this reproduction is an exact replica, down to the finest detail.

Represented in its famous regal red, this model features a removable ladder and hoses, as well as functional steering. This is a replica of the best quality, painstakingly detailed and hand assembled to meet the high expectations of the serious collector.

Whether sitting on a mantel or resting on your desk, the 1938 Ahrens-Fox VC Fire Engine is sure to invoke all the prestige and honor for those who give their all to keep us safe.
